Your time or in kind
Your time is one of the most valuable gifts you can give. Volunteers play an important role in helping the Waitematā District Health Board do more for our community every day.
From keeping hospital gardens tidy and helping with working bees to hand making beautiful toys and clothes for our precious new-borns, our volunteers gifts are diverse and wonderfully generous.
Local people spend hours of unpaid time helping out; for example we have a number of knitters and quilters who donate beautiful clothes and blankets for hospital patients and art volunteers who look after the stock take of the hospital's artworks. We also from time to time ask people to come along to Well Foundation fundraising events to lend a hand.
