Joy of giving brings hospital spiritual centre to life
Donors funded the purchase of the beautiful stained glass windows that are over 100 years old and the focal point of the chapel, including their journey from the other side of the world and careful crafting into place.
Donors also funded the stained glass panels at the chapel entrance, acquired and given new life after the building they were in was destroyed by the Christchurch earthquake.
A special board on the wall (pictured above with chapel supporters, Paul and Liz Blackwell) adjacent to the chapel entrance thanks those “whose combined efforts have helped this place of peace become a reality”.
