We are delighted to announce that Dr Janak de Zoysa has joined the Well Foundation Board.

Dr De Zoysa is a Nephrologist at the Waitemata Renal Service as well as being the Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Auckland and the Assistant Dean of the Waitemata Clinical Campus. He trained in Nephrology in Christchurch, New Zealand and the John Walls Renal Unit, Leicester, UK. He is Chair of the Aotearoa Adult Medicine Division Committee and has previously Chaired the specialist advisory committee in Nephrology, the New Zealand Adult Medicine Self-Assessment programme and NZ Clinical Exams Committee for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Janak brings a unique clinical perspective to his role as a Well Foundation Trustee understanding intimately the needs of patients and his medical colleagues and how charitable support can improve the experiences and outcomes for everyone who needs hospital care.
