As well as being a familiar voice that graces many of our airwaves during the day, Lorna is also a North Shore resident of over three decades, and has spent quite a bit of time in North Shore Hospital over the last couple of years. Lorna has experienced the joyful side of our public health care system, with two of her three children born at North Shore, and the arrival of her first grandchild earlier this year. However, she has also faced treatment and surgeries due to two cancer diagnoses. Lorna’s numerous encounters with North Shore Hospital has made her determined to give back, and she is excited to be involved on a more intimate level with Well Foundation and the work we do to improve healthcare and outcomes for everyone in our community.
