Do you want to play a more active role in your community? The Well Foundation is looking for 100 local businesses to donate just $500 each. This collective effort will help us reach our goal and make the Healing Garden a reality for our local community. The Healing Garden will fill the empty atrium at the new North Shore Hospital facility, Tōtara Haumaru. With major donations, corporate and community partnerships, we are already three-quarters of the way there, but we need your continued support.
About the Healing Garden
New Zealand’s first large-scale, indoor hospital Healing Garden promises to enhance the wellbeing of thousands of patients, visitors, and healthcare workers from the wider Auckland/Northland region. The garden will be the feature-piece of the new state-of-the-art hospital currently under construction. This facility, complete with 150 beds and eight operating theatres, provides a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a special space that will improve hospital experiences for our loved ones for decades to come.

Over the past four months, our public campaign, “Give a Bit of Green”, has resonated with over 250,000 people and raised nearly $300,000. By contributing to this project, your business will not only gain exposure but also build greater staff and customer loyalty, enhance your company reputation, and strengthen your competitive edge. Your contribution will be acknowledged prominently in the highest footfall-zone of the hospital, where up to 350,000 people annually will interact with the space.
What Does a $500 Donation Mean?
By donating $500, your business joins a select group of North Shore businesses supporting their local hospital. This investment in your community leads to a host of benefits. You will feature in a social media post and a newsletter, reach our engaged email database, and have your logo displayed on the Well Foundation website. Your name will feature on a revolving donor board as part of the ‘Small Business BIG Heart Club’. Plus, your donation is potentially tax deductible, meaning your contribution of $500 could only cost you $335. All donors will receive a special certificate recognising their contribution, something you can proudly display to your customers.
